  • Preference page for setting up userid/password, etc

v0.3.1 Changes:

Known Issues:

  • After SMS is viewed, the notification is not cleared. A simple workaround is to install SMS Popup, enables its notification feature and disables that of the Messaging app.

  • Messaging integration only works with Android 2.0 & 2.1 (i.e. not works with Android 1.6 or 2.2).
Main Screen
  • On first invocation, you need to set up your SMS API userid/password and phone number via the Settings menu option.
  • By default, SMS messages are sent via the data network, but you can choose to send it via the mobile network via the Toggle Send menu option.
Main Screen
  • If intelliSMS is invoked from Contacts, the phone number is pre-populated.
  • SMS messages are limited to a maximum length of 608 (split into multiple messages) when sent via the data network and a maximum length of 160 otherwise. As you type. the total number of characters are reported.
Main Screen
  • If IntelliSMS is invoked from Messaging, the phone number is pre-populated and the last 2 SMSes or the whole conversation (configurable) is shown for your reference. The list is scrollable.
Main Screen
  • You can tap to hide the message thread.
Settings
  • You can set up your SMS API userid/password and phone number, whether you want to erase message on input after send, or show full SMS thread if invoked from Messaging.
